At Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, we believe marriage is a beautiful gift of God — a covenant of mutual promises, commitment, and hope, grounded in love and blessed by God. Every wedding here is both a celebration of love between two people and an act of worship that gives thanks to the Source of that love.
Our sanctuary offers a warm, light-filled setting for your ceremony, whether you are a member of Good Shepherd or a couple seeking a sacred and meaningful space to begin your marriage. The Good Shepherd Pastor officiates all weddings that take place at Good Shepherd. We are honored to share in this milestone moment and extend the hospitality of our congregation to those within and beyond our church family.
A Celebration of Faith and Love
Each wedding at Good Shepherd is designed as a Christian worship service. It includes prayer, Scripture, vows, and blessing, with the option to include Holy Communion. Our pastor will work closely with you to plan a ceremony that reflects your faith, your relationship, and your hopes for the life you are beginning together.
Music and Atmosphere
Music is an expression of praise and joy in our worship, and our organist will guide you in choosing music that enhances the sacred nature of your ceremony. Our sanctuary’s classic architecture, beautiful light, and excellent acoustics provide a timeless and peaceful setting for your vows.
Who May Be Married
Good Shepherd joyfully affirms that marriage is a gift of God meant for the joy, mutual strength, and wellbeing of all people. Our pastor officiates weddings for members of Good Shepherd and their immediate families, as well as for non-members.

We celebrate marriages between all couples, including same-gender couples, and welcome those who may not yet have a church home. Love, commitment, and faith are the foundations of Christian marriage, and we are honored to bless any couple seeking to enter this covenant before God.

Couples who are not members are warmly invited to attend a worship service before scheduling their wedding, to get to know our community and the spirit of our worship.
