The Animal Therapy Ministry shares God's love through therapeutic interactions with animals, outreach programs, and responsible stewardship of animals, and our environment.
The Generosity Team supports faith, time, and talent efforts among members and friends to share the Good News! We give Temple Talks and support stewardship at home and in the congregation.
We are passionate Christians who serve our community and the world by supporting those in need through faith and compassion.
Our Caring Ministry supports members by lifting up prayer and reaching out, assisting with meals, transportation, and advocacy.
The Property ministry maintains the churches' physical assets including buildings, grounds and equipment, ensuring that they are safe and functional. From seasonal landscaping to HVAC, we do it all!
The Staff Support team helps make sure those who work for the church have their needs met! They handle hiring, onboarding, and ongoing support for GS Staff.
The Communications team supports ministries in communicating to the congregation and communities through banners, social media, and more!
We obtain and serve food for ordinations, funeral receptions, fellowship time between services, and other meetings that Good Shepherd hosts. We also set up tables and decorations for food service.
From Altar Guild to Videographers, Sunday servants are the folks who serve our congregation on Sundays to support worship and praise.
Out team helps everyone know Jesus Christ and grow as followers through Education. We offer opportunities for all ages to deepen their faith and daily walk God.
Chancel Choir, Bell Choir, Children's Choir, the Crossview Band, our Organist, and folks who share their love for God through song, work together through the music ministry to lift up our praise!
Our Youth Group provides opportunities for young people, 6th - 12th grades to experience fellowship and travel for faith based retreats and conferences.
Annual Events
Yard Sale
Every year, Good Shepherd hosts a Yard Sale, allowing folks to donate unneeded items in good shape, so that other folks in need can pick them up! All proceeds go to supporting local service and justice organizations.
Palm Sunday Breakfast
Every year for Palm Sunday, men of the Good Shepherd congregation organize food and servers for our Palm Sunday Breakfast!
Vacation Bible School
One of the largest outreach events, Vacation Bible School happens every year. Our Education Team works with volunteers to support fellowship and education for up to 100 young folks every summer!
