Good Shepherd
Lutheran Church
Chancel Choir
"Beautiful music is the art of the prophets that can calm the agitations of the soul; it is one of the most magnificent and delightful presents God has given us."
Martin Luther
What We Do!
The choir sings at most traditional worship services (8:45am) throughout the school year from September to June. We sing for the glory of God and the deepening of our congregation’s worship experience.

What Music we Sing
Both old and new! Our repertoire represents the entire spectrum of musical styles and eras, from the Renaissance to the 21st Century, with anthems chosen for their solid artistic merit and their ability to reinforce and enhance the themes of the individual worship services.

Join us!
We rehearse in the Sanctuary every Thursday at 5:30pm during the school year.

On Sundays we meet before service at 8:14am to practice.

Impact Highlight
It wouldn't be Easter Sunday without the choir's singing of Handel's Hallelujah Chorus to end the service!
