Upcoming Events for 2008:

1. Care in Congregations

Matching funds from Thrivent are divided evenly between Food Bank and Religious Coalition for Emergency Needs. We will be starting a campaign to ask for donations from our church family. Our allotment each year from Thrivent is $1600, but we must earn at least $1600 to get it. So at least $3200 will reach out into the community through those two organizations.

3. FAIR TRADE FAIR - Weekend of November 20th - 22nd

This will be organized by Erin Kline. There will be a children's Secret Shop in the Fireside Room on Nov. 20 & 21st, and the Fair Trade Fair on Saturday, Nov. 22nd. All proceeds will go to Lutheran World Relief, to help Artisans in third world countries be able to provide a better living for their families.
