Sunday School
Sunday school is an important part of the Christian's journey to know God better. Good Shepherd Lutheran Church is committed to enabling the Christian to progress in their daily walk of faith through various Christian education classes.
Our Educational leaders were commissioned to their ministries on September 11th. Included this
year are Anne Harter, Michele Martin, Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten; Lisa Long, Grades 1/2, Jim Latham (Fall Term), (Winter/Spring, Marilyn Ayres, Grades 3/4 Laurie Wilhelm, Nancy Tregoning Grades 5/6,; Music, Gail Mathews; Grade 7 Confirmation, Brian Keefer; Grade 8 Confirmation, Evie Timberlake; Senior High, Michele Hildebrand; Adult I, Audrey Asbury, Marilyn Ayres (Fall Term), Gene Schoonover, Lucretia Reaves, Adult II, Nancy Zeim and Ginny Strader.

Adult I Sunday School
Will meet in the Community Room and will begin with a series “Making Sense of Scripture - Big Questions About the Book of Faith.”
Adult II Sunday School
Will meet in the first classroom on the left in the Education Wing. The group is open to all adults. It is currently exploring topics for discussion. Coming soon, a study of Dr. Scott Gustafsonās book Biblical Amnesia.

Senior High Sunday School
Senior High Will meet in the Youth Room, adjacent to the Community Room.
Confirmation Sunday School
7th Grade Confirmation will meet in one half of the Fireside Room; 8th Grade Confirmation will meet in the kitchen.
Age 3 to Grade 6
This class uses a curriculum called Spark. Age 3 becomes familiar with various Bible Stories. Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 6 study the Gospel and other lessons read in worship each Sunday. Ages 3 through grade 2 use a Story Bible in their classes. Students in grades 3 through 6 receive a Study Bible for use during class (which they get to keep after completing grade 6).
